I'm an american,  conservatory trained  opera singer, with extensive experience in musical theatre and jazz. I am based in Vienna, Austria, where I have lived since 2010.

I founded Voice Lessons Vienna because I believe that everyone should have access to excellent vocal technique, effective performance training, and the opportnity to fully develop their own musical personality and style.

As an opera and musical theatre performer, I have apeared across Europe, Asia and the United States with companies such as Neue Oper Wien, der Wiener Staatsopernchor, and The New Singers.  Some of my signature roles include Cherubino in Mozart's Nozze di Figaro,  Bizet's Carme, Nettie in Rogers & Hammerstein's "Carousel", and Lois (Bianca) in Cole Porter's "Kiss me Kate". 

As a coach and teacher, I have worked with the Filmschool Vienna as their english language vocal trainer, I led a series of opera masterclasses at the Jakarta Conservatory of Music in Indonesia, and I have been teaching private students for the last 15 years.

I have a Performance Degree in Lied and Oratorio, and a Performers Certificate in Operatic Stage Performance from Prayner Konservatorium für Musik und Dramatische Kunst in Vienna. From American, I have a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance from Lawrence Conservatory in Wisconsin.

 

Here in Vienna, I have studied under such prestigious artists as Maestro Maksimilijan Cenčić of the Wiener Staatsoper, Professor Walter Moore of the Vienna University of Music, and Paulette V. Herbich of the Vienna Staatsoper and Volksoper.

In America, I performed with conductors such as Bonnie Koestner of the San Fransisco Opera and Glimmerglass Opera of New York, and David Becker of the UW Symphony Orchestra and the Madison Symphony.
